Online Shops / E-Commerce Systems:
- The online shop needs to support the
W3C-compliant shop log file format specified
by Exody. For further information about
this specification, please consult the
Technical White Paper listed below.
Web Servers (optional):
- ShopSuxess supports the Common,
Combined, W3C and similar common
log file formats, regardless of the
web server platform.
Exody has chosen a reliable and platform-independent technology for the analysis of online shopping behavior with ShopSuxess. In three distinct and easy stages, ShopSuxess users proceed from implementation to the analysis:
1. Using ShopSuxess to analyze own shopping data requires implementation of the Exody shop log file format once, according to the specifications outlined below. The purpose of the implementation is to trigger the shop system to write a shop log file that contains the relevant data.
2. Once the log file format has been implemented, the shop system automatically and continually writes shop log files. This stage does not require user action or intervention.
3. To analyze online shopping behavior, the user will use ShopSuxess periodically at will to process the relevant log files and create the analyses in the required format.
The integration of ShopSuxess distinguishes two scenarios:
1. The online shop is based on a standard e-commerce system. In this case, Exody offers "ready-to-go" integrations where the system either already writes shop log files or will do so after easy installation of a cartridge.
Currently, such "ready-to-go" integrations are available for the following systems:
- COBOLT NetServices: MiniVend
- conceptware: GateBuilder
- hybris: WebPiazza V2.1 and higher
- Internolix: Professional Line, Medium/Large Business
- Intershop: enfinity and Intershop4 Merchant/Hosting Edition
- Openshop: Business 2

2. The shop is based on a customized system, developed in an application development language (e.g. Active Server Pages, ColdFusion, PHP, etc.). Exody offers the know-how to integrate ShopSuxess with many common online technologies in Integration Packages.
